STRATOVARIUS Frontman Signs ANCARA

STRATOVARIUS singer Timo Kotipelto's High and Loud record label has signed Finnish hard rockers ANCARA.

"After seeing a couple of gigs by the band and listening to their new material I was convinced: this band has to be signed!" explains Kotipelto.

He adds, "ANCARA plays honest hard rock and are not running after any trends. Sammy [Salminen] has a very strong voice backed up by excellent backing vocals by the other guys. The songs are catchy and the band rocks the house when playing live!"

ANCARA's new album, "Beyond the Dark", will be released in Finland on August 22. A video for the song "Deny" has been posted at YouTube.
